Why we love DO Books:
INSPIRATIONAL.

Find out more about why we love DO Books in our About Curated Makers Section.

Description:
DO Birth. Although I'm hardly placed to be an expert (being male, for a start!), I have sat through three births (one induced, two cesarean), so I feel that I could offer some useful thoughts. Pregnancy seems to be a nine month whirlwind of symptoms, shopping and classes (especially the first). You're constantly bombarded with impossible social media pictures, expensive 'must-have' products in magazines thrust at you whether you want them or not and a constant barrage of advice from everyone, even random strangers you pass in the street.

So, imagine my relief at DO Birth. A simple, easy to read, no nonsense book on your options for childbirth, short and practical lists of things you need (honestly, if you read some magazines, you'll pack more for a twelve hour stay in hospital than three weeks abroad!), how to manage the early days of having someone to care for 24/7 and what to do if you don't feel quite right.

Okay, it's not a panacea and you should look and listen to other things too. But when it's all getting a bit overwhelming, this should bring you back down to a place where it all makes a bit more sense.

178mm x 120mm x 93 pages.

Goes well with:
Pure New Wool Pram Blanket, or a blanket for you, a good bar of Ocelot chocolate (although be careful of your caffeine intake!), or one of the lovely Flying Eye Books (It's never too early to read!).
