Cotyledon ladismithiensis is a succulent which can grow up to 12 inches (30 cm) high (40 inches / 1 m, including the flower stems) wide, densely branched, covered with tiny hairs making a furry appearance. The leaves are oblong-elliptic or almost cylindrical, yellow-green, sometimes the tips being reddish, up to 2 inches (5 cm) long, with 1-3 apical teeth. More numerous small teeth may be apparent at first, but these disappear as the leaf matures. The flowers are orange-red to almost yellow in colour.

We've found that the leaves are very prone to falling off to grow new plants - don't be concerned, the plant will carry on putting new ones out in the right conditions.
